Welcome To The Sasswatch Report
Three weeks before the renewal was due on Sassypiehole, my web hosting company emailed to tell me my plan was being eliminated and that the price would increase from $23 a month to $75. Yeah, right; so much for customer loyalty. After two minutes of brutal negotiations, we agreed to part ways.
Changing providers is a whole thing when your experience as a web designer is limited to figuring shit out the hard way. It's not my fault the domain got locked for 60 days because I switched mailing addresses. Still, it seemed like as good a time as any to rebrand, and my first order of business was not to freak out.
But with less than three weeks to find a host, buy a domain, create a logo, redesign an entire website to include branded merchandise, and start a new blog, panic began to set in. So, I did what anyone else would do: I stocked up on caffeine and got busy.
If you've been following along on social media, you're probably already aware of my deep appreciation for a good pun. I wanted the new blog to reflect the humor of our merch, and after hours of brainstorming ideas, The Sasswatch Report was born. Be on the lookout.
